About Lynette

I have cared for children since I was 16 years old but actually even before that as my youngest sibling 12 years younger when I learned to diaper and make bottles. I cared for a Down's Syndrome older child when I was in high school. I love engaging with children and believe starting early cultivates curiosity. I am currently caring for a 6-month-old baby girl and we are teething so do my best to keep her calm and happy on those rough days. I help with household chores including laundry, unloading dishwasher and cleaning. There is also a 10-year-old boy who splits his time between Mom and Dad. Have a good relationship with him. I retired early from my 27 year insurance career and found I love taking care of children which I consider to be a blessing.
