About Lynde

Hello families! I am Returned Peace Corps Education Volunteer seeking nanny and tutoring opportunities in time of school closures. I recently served for 7 months as a Grade K-6 English and Science teacher in Tonga. I also helped to instruct sports and art classes. Since returning to the US, I have worked to provide care and assist with online learning for a family with three children (ages 4, 6 and 8). I have over 9 years of professional experience working with children as an educator and camp counselor. In 2019, I worked as a rock climbing and paddling instructor, instilling a sense of safety and patience while working with kids. I can use my skills to build an educational and active environment for your children while schools are closed, while being mindful of social distancing techniques. I am a Penn State graduate residing in Charleston, SC. I look forward to hearing from you!
