About Lyla

Hello! My name is Lyla and I am a current clinical psychology graduate student pursuing a career as a therapist. I have 5+ years of experience- I have been babysitting since high school- and always loved being a dependable and fun presence in childrens lives. I am currently doing an internship with adolescent foster youth (along with classwork), but am looking for a flexible, part time babysitting position that can help support my education. As a babysitter, I believe children thrive when they have an engaged and enthusiastic adult that makes them feel safe and understood. I enjoy creating environments where kids can explore their creativity and have fun! Arts & crafts, spending time outdoors, playing games, trying new hobbies, or just simply being a listening ear are all activities I do with the children I care for.
