About Lydia

I'd describe my personality as somewhat reserved but always ready for an adventure, I am assertive when needful yet am easy-going and conscientious and reliable. I like working with kids because it's natural for me to, I grew up in a large family and have cared for children from a young age and I honestly enjoy it. In my spare time, I like to read, go on long walks or hikes, I like to play piano to relax or bake and meal prep. One thing you should know about me is that I am a Christian and my work resembles such. I am respectful towards employers in every way. I have a strong work ethic and I take my responsibilities seriously. This also means that I cannot work on Sundays or Thursday evenings. My skills include active listening, communication, conflict resolutions. I'll add that I am in training to become a health and wellness coach and many skills needed in childcare correlate with this profession.
