About Lydia

Hi! My name is Lydia and I'm 26. I live in the Reston, VA area and work full time in the Dulles, VA area as an Executive Assistant. I grew up in Alexandria, VA. I started out being a mother's helper in elementary school with a family who had a newborn and a toddler, and I worked with them longterm. In high school, I shadowed at a Montessori school and have knowledge regarding Montessori education & values. Throughout high school and college, I occasionally babysitted, and have experience with all ages. My favorite age is the toddler stage. Now that I am working full time and living on my own, I am looking to connect with a family to develop a long-term connection with the parents and the kids, and I am looking to do this out of a passion for children - not for money! I am highly detail-oriented, aware, and educated on childcare. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to answer any questions.
