About Lydia

I am Lydia , a 20 yr old Junior college student, Christian, and classical musician. My earliest experience in childcare is babysitting and I have had the opportunity to teach music lessons and offer voice coaching. In high school, I was asked to take over the elementary aftercare program and create fun and engaging activities for the children while also helping them with their homework after school. After graduating, I spent the summer working at a daycare, specifically with the 3 yr old children. I was praised for adding to their education by creating a music hour where I would teach them songs, instruments and share our music with the other children once a week in a parade. My home has been a safe haven for children in crisis since I was 13. I have helped care for dozens of young children throughout my teenage years, including special needs children and my 6 yr old adopted brother. I am very caring, creative & love planning activities with children.
