About Lydia

Hello! My name is Lydia, and I am available to help care for your loved one! Currently I am a companion 3 days a week for a lovely woman in her late 80s who lives alone. Prior to that I was a caregiver for a couple in their 90s with various physical issues. I was their companion, cook, driver, laundry helper and cleaner. Past jobs have included helping to care for a woman in her 50s recovering from a stroke, and for a 70-year-old woman who no longer drove and needed a driver to go grocery shopping, get a haircut, to medical appointments, and provide companionship. For several years, I also cooked and cleaned for a young family in Longmeadow. Most of my adult life I have been an administrative assistant at various non-profits and great companies. I really enjoy interacting with seniors very much; they have wonderful stories to tell! I am funny, patient, reliable, responsible, compassionate, thoughtful, an interesting conversationalist, and a very careful, safe driver!
