About Lydia

Hi, I'm Lydia! I am a full spectrum-trained, postpartum-focused doula serving the DMV area. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to help families feel confident, rested, and cared for as they navigate life with their little ones. As a part-time childcare provider and/or a postpartum or birth doula, my support can include: - Assistance with emotional and physical recovery support - Assistance with newborn care or care for other children in the home - Newborn care education including feeding and sleep guidance, and assistance with navigating additional resources - Assistance with household management including meal prep, laundry, light cleaning, and others. I am CPR certified, experienced with kiddos from infancy to early childhood, and experience with supporting parents during the postpartum period.
