About Lydia

Hello! I'm a 27-year-old student at Portland State studying art and design. In my early twenties, I pursued elementary education and gained experience as a teacher's aide in first and second grade classrooms, as well as working in a preschool. I also grew up babysitting my two younger sisters and for family friends/neighbors, giving me experience with kids of all ages. From this, I've developed a strong understanding of early childhood development and CPR/safety training. I'm very crafty and enjoy picking up new hobbies and spending time in the sun. For the past five years, I've worked as a server, but I'm looking for a change as I finish my bachelor's degree. I hope to become an art teacher, as working with kids has been the most fulfilling work I've done. I'd love to get to know you and your kiddos and support your day-to-day life!
