About Lydia
Experience: 10 yrs
12 years as a Creative Arts and Bible teacher. Students in my classes ranged from ages 5yrs old through 19 years old. I taught in person and online classes. Kindergarten through 12th grade, at a private school. With over 20 years experience in business and education, I held an Assistant Director position at a Early Development Preschool for 3 years, while training staff and teaching Pre-K lessons. I've enjoyed caring for and teaching all school aged children, from new born, preschool, all up through teenage years, and have also mentored young adults. I hold myself to a higher standard and consider it a great honor to be in this role. Using art lessons, sports, and creative activities, as well as assisting with homeschooling and behavioral emotional intelligence support, I'm able to provide exceptional experience and fun-loving care. Lydia has cared for my children weekly for about three months. I have four children ranging in age from 10 months to 8 years. Her joyful spirit has been a blessing to our family. My children LOVE when she comes! She is experienced and thoughtful often bringing activities for the kids to do. She is comfortable and skilled with their ages and personalities. She works hard and is careful to keep the house in order, too. We are thankful to have her!
