About Lydia-ann

Hi there! I'm Lydia - it's nice to virtually meet you. I am half-English, half-Taiwanese and speak fluent Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch and basic conversational French. I have been babysitting for most of my life. Most kids I babysat were aged 2+. As a babysitter, I would pick up kids from school, play with them, help them with homework, eat dinner and sometimes put them to bed too. My favourite activities to do with kids are read books, make up our own stories (and sometimes act them out), all forms of arts and crafts, building with lego, playing puzzles, and singing karaoke. I especially love activities that involve creative expression and learning whilst also having fun! In Taiwan, I worked as an ESL tutor for kids and adults and as a preschool teacher for 5 years. I taught 20 kids aged 3-6 in many exciting subjects such as spelling, reading, art, science, PE, math, drama, health and safety, character building and even meditation. I still keep in touch with many of them!
