I am an experience adult caregiver also for several years. I am compassionate and very caring . I always try to understand the situation of my client to make the daily undertakings easier. I had cared for a 82 yrs. old female with pancreatic cancer and she's using G-tube feeding. It was a bit challenging because I was tasked to help the patient improve her appetite in order to remove the G-tube. I succeed a little because she was able to eat some of her favorite foods I prepared. I also dealt with a patient with Alzheimer, with dementia, stomach cancer, bedridden patients with complications . Different cases different ways of treating / dealing with them but it boils down to how will you give the tender , love and care, this is very important in adult care , other routine will follow , like bathe , feeding and administering medicine.
