About Luz

Hi, I'm Luz! My tutoring services offer personalized support in a variety of subjects, including English, Spanish, math, science, reading comprehension, and essay writing. I have always been passionate about learning, and I began my tutoring journey in high school about 10 years ago. My teaching approach is rooted in balancing structure with play to help students establish a deep and genuine appreciation for what they are learning. I have a BA in English with a concentration in Writing, Rhetoric, and Literacies and am passionate about helping students succeed through engaging and tailored lessons in all subjects. Whether your child needs help with schoolwork or wants to strengthen their skills, I'm here to make learning enjoyable and effective. It has always been deeply rewarding to me to help others learn, and I seek to continue helping young people with their academic success as much as I possibly can.
