About Luz

Hi everyone! I am a soon to be University student and will be pursuing Elementary education with a minor in child psychology and am interested in providing child care this summer. I have one year of experience caring for children. My patient and calm personality helps me handle children of all ages, but I'm most comfortable caring for four- and5-year-olds but have worked well with younger children like toddlers or older preteens as well. I also speak both English and Spanish. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and always follow their preferred method of contact. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. When it's time to play, I love playing board games and puzzles, along with any educational games that promote learning. I can also help with light housekeeping and am happy to assist with cooking and meal preparation. I'm excited about the opportunity to provide reliable child care and hope to support your family soon!
