I love working with children. I am a very patient, enthusiastic and loving person. I am bi-lingual. I started working with children at a young age babysitting for family and friends. I am responsible and always on time. I was a nanny years ago and found it very rewarding. I started my own family and joined the work force working for about 30 years. I was recently laid off my previous job and I have decided to return to the line of work that made me happy child care. I was a preschool teacher for two years while I was in high school as part of my Careers with Children major. After I graduated from high school I became a full time nanny for a year. I started my own family and dedicated my life raising two very successful children. Most recently I took temporary custody of twin girls (for two years) Being responsible for these girls made me realize just how much I missed caring for children. At this stage in my life I am very flexible. My children are grown and successful and I am single which allows me to be independent and take this opportunity to get back to doing the work I do best.

Lupie took care of our 5 yr old like he was part of her own family. She took time to h see stand him. He misses her! We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver. 

Lupie did an incredible job taking care of our 4 children, who are 5 years and under! They love her so much! She also helped me with laundry and household organization. She is very timely and made my life run much more smoothly! She is a very sweet and loving person! I highly recommend her!

We loved the time we were able to spend with Lupie! Our boys adore her and she has shown them so much love and care. They were excited to see her each and every day. She was interactive, playful, and incredibly conversational with both of them. They have learned so many fun things from her. She is consistent and helpful in so many ways. You will be lucky to have Lupie in your home! 

Lupie was our nanny for six months, from the time our daughter was four months until she turned ten months.  Before Lupie, life with an infant felt chaotic, but as soon as she started our baby got on a regular routine and Lupie helped keep us organized.  Lupie was always 15 minutes early and our baby lit up as soon as Lupie walked in the door.  Lupie kept her constantly engaged, was always teaching her new skills and read to her every day.  Our daughter loves books and we credit much of that to Lupie's skilled and animated storytelling.  Lupie has a great deal of experience having been a nanny for many years and having run her own daycare.  As first time parents we felt so fortunate to be able to count on Lupie for advice.  Every day she taught our daughter something new.  Lupie is a gem.  She is professional and intelligent but she is also every child's dream - she knows how to make everything fun.  It was a pleasure having her in our home and she quickly became part of our family.  She left us to relocate out of state, but we still do things "the way Lupie did them."  Any family would be extremely fortunate to have Lupie as their nanny.

Lupie is absolutely wonderful! She is not only an amazing caregiver to our 16 month old daughter but she has also become a member of our family. She is incredibly warm, compassionate, dependable, flexible and has our utmost confidence that she will make the best decisions when it comes to our daughter's care. She has tons of experience not only as a mom herself but in her years of working with other families and fostering children. Our daughter and two rescue pups light up and dance with delight when Lupie arrives. Everyone is happier and every room is cleaner when we come home after work (she's magical). I don't know what we would do without her. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Lupie gets it. She understands what a mom (working mom) needs for her kids while out and she not only takes care of the kids but makes sure the everything is clean and organized when she leaves. She comes over early to learn the day/night routines and is great with the kids. The kids love when Lupie comes over and we'll definitely continue using her!

Lupie is a skilled and special individual on more levels than can be described here.  
I work in the child maltreatment/child protection field and have trusted the care of my six year old to no one but family - until I met Lupie.  She is a consummate professional, and in equal parts loving and patient with children (and us grown ups!) alike.  
Her knowledge of child development has expanded my knowledge base.  She has demonstrated skill and expertise in a variety of complex and day to day situations.  
Lupie has also cared for my sister's small infant who has flourished in her care.
I cannot recommend Lupie highly enough.  

I'm so late on this review and that is 100% an indication of how busy and overwhelmed I've been during this holiday season. Now, imagine ME throwing a party. lol. I needed all hands on deck and Lupie came through like a CHAMP. I'd had an ad up for about 2 weeks and I was so busy that I couldn't interview people until the night before. Lupie was available to come over at a moments notice and dug right in during the interview as if she were on the job. She was quick to point out that a huge outdoor activity that we had planned for the children might not be the best idea considering it was supposed to be 42 degrees the following day. What a lifesaver she was. Needless to say I hired her on the spot thankful that I found such a team player. Lupie also offered to help that night and/or come early the next day. On the day of the party I was out running errands all day but my staff informed me that Lupie was great with the children and even helped out with the set up. That night I had about 60 guests which included about 20 children. Lupie was one of 2 babysitters that kept the children busy upstairs in separate rooms. She was WONDERFUL with my 2 year old and even helped us to get him ready, she worked about 10 hours or so without so much as a break or complaint. Her personality is wonderful and she is an all around cool person. If you have 1 child or 10 (sorry Lupie lol), I would recommend her over and over and over again. If I could afford it I would BEG her to be my nanny full time. Any parents that hire her would be lucky to have her for one day or many.

I'd also like to point out that we met on Care.com because I know that some reviews are done from outside of the website and I think it's important for parents to know where the review is coming from.

Lupie is a truly dedicated professional Childcare expert.   In addition to taking beautiful photographs and videos, she kept me informed of everything happening in my son's day when I was away.   My 21-month-old son became more verbal and laughed a lot with her.   She is very creative and opened many windows in our world.   We are having more fun since she came into our lives.   Super bonus: she's an EXCELLENT cook.   She's an experienced and confidant mother herself, and is encouraging and reassuring for a first time mom.  We will certainly hire her again, and give her a great recommendation.

We were last minute in our need for child care and she was responsive and timely. My son was at ease instantly and she was open to our parenting style and maintaining that throughout the night. She also helped styling my outfit for the evening!!! 


When our son was born, Lupie lived with us as a full time nanny for a year. After that I stayed at home with the baby and her services were no longer required.   When she was with us, she carried out her duties as requested, was efficient, caring and pleasant with the family. It was obvious that our son was happy and comfortable in her care.
