Hi there! I am a warm, gentle and good-humored teacher. I love working with kids because they are such a joy to spend time with. I love that kids are honest about their feelings and the way they see the world. I genuinely enjoy sharing even the mundane aspects of their days. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue my passion of caring for children with the flexibility of also being present for my infant daughter as much as possible. I'm grateful to work for families in providing them with the highest quality of care while they work or take time for themselves. In my spare time I also work as a photographer and love to spend time with my husband and sweet baby girl at the beach! I am a very patient caregiver and am trained in Montessori/Reggio Emilia and have worked as a lead teacher in a local preschool for 5 years and abroad in Peru! My skills include creating interesting play setups and activities at home and out and about, and diffusing and calming strong emotions.
