About Lucy

Hello! My name is Lucy, but my friends call me Jask (pronounced like Yask). I have 3 years of experience taking care of children, but I've been exceptionally good with them all my life. I've been told I have a very warm and comforting presence, and kids are known to easily fall fast asleep when I'm around. Some of my favorite things are cooking, music, organizing, playing, and reading aloud. Homeschooled growing up, reading aloud with my family really fostered a love of stories and learning. I graduated high school with a 4. 2 GPA (thank you Honors courses!) and am currently doing some online classes at LoneStar, pursuing an English Major with an American Sign Language Minor. I have been told I am incredibly patient and kind. Lastly, I prefer expectations to be clearly laid out so I can do my best to work with you and your child.
