About Lucy

My name is Lucy, a mother of three and with over 7 years of experience as a caregiver. When I started out in this field, my family and I were immigrants from Kenya and were trying to get the lay of the land. All my life I have been a nurturer and when I found out I could provide for my family all while caring for the vulnerable, my heart couldn't be more full. Over the years, though challenging, I have grown to love my job. I find joy in being that helping hand, or guide to our seniors who worked so hard in their prior lives and need help now that they are older. I am never late to work, always dependable and give 100% at what I do. I am compassionate, gentle and have learned to respect that every individual is different and has preferences on how they like things done. I have experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinson disease patients, use of lifts for transfers, medication administration, ADLs and companionship. My hope is that I can be of great assistance to your loved one.
