About Lucy

Hi there! I'm Lucy, a current Junior at Lafayette College, who grew up in Brooklyn, NY. I would describe myself as a natural caretaker, as I grew up as the designated babysitter for both my younger sister and all my younger cousins. Along with that, I have experience babysitting my neighbors, family friends, and Berkeley Carroll families's children. I have always loved taking care of kids, planning fun outings, making their favorite food, and overall just listening to their funny anecdotes and joining them in their imaginative play. That is why I furthered my journey into childcare when I served as a counselor at the Berkeley Carroll Summer Camp in Park Slope, Brooklyn, for two fulfilling summers. There, I had the opportunity to engage with children from diverse backgrounds, organize activities, and ensure their safety and well-being. I have to say that was one of my favorite jobs, and I always came home with a smile on my face.
