Lucy is the quintessential hard worker and comes with a wealth of experience that is sure to be an asset for any mom. With Lucy, experience isn't just a number—it's a testament to her dedication, knowledge, and genuine love for children. Her decades of expertise shine through in the way she understands the unique needs and nuances of each age group. Lucy stepped into our lives when my child was six months old, and with each passing month, she anticipated the new phases that were to come. For a first time mom like myself, Lucy's proactive approach exceeded all of my expectations for a nanny. Safety is a paramount concern for any parent, and Lucy leaves no stone unturned in this regard. She is diligent about childproofing the environment (she is NOT shy about pointing out areas of concern and providing suggestions for improvement), and maintains a vigilant eye on my child at all times. This level of commitment to keep my child safe has allowed me to place complete trust in her abilities and have a peace of mind while I'm working. This, and her finely honed organizational skills to ensure that everything runs smoothly, are some of my favorite characteristics about her. Beyond her extensive expertise, Lucy is smart and is a critical thinker. Lucy's attention to detail is remarkable; she notices the little things that make a big difference in our child's life, and she rightfully prides herself in being more than just a nanny. Any time Lucy finds herself with free time, she will use it to mop the floors and vacuum the rugs to maintain a clean playing area for my child as he is still crawling. If she has already finished all of the laundry and dishes (which happens daily) she will use her time looking up home-made Montesorri toys and/or activities to try to stimulate my child and encourage his development with her creativity. I've never asked her to do any of these things, she's just extremely proactive. Lucy's work ethic and dedication to my child's well-being has made an indelible impact on our lives. We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have her as a part of our journey.
