Lucia is my evening caregiver. She is wonderful! I am totally disabled, so in the evening, she helps me get ready for bed with my eyedrops, medicines, toothbrushing and washing. She lifts me from my power chair into bed using a Hoyer lift, and makes sure I am clean, comfortable and ready for the night. She is highly competent in all these tasks. And perhaps even more importantly, she is one of the most kind and caring people I have ever met. I, my wife and our cats love her! She is part of our family. I highly recommend her as a caregiver.

I hired Lucia after my mom who is 87 had a slow recovery from knee surgery. I can’t tell you how much she was appreciated and loved. She made homemade soups for my mom, did her laundry, gave her sponge baths, painted her nails, and gave her loving kindness when we couldn’t be there, her knowledge of medical procedures and her calm demeanor make her the perfect choice for anyone’s loved one . She was there at the end of my mom‘s life, helping other relatives, cope and making my mom‘s last days easier and full of warmth. We now consider Lucia part of our family.

Lucia  took care of my father-in-law for 18 months. He had some physical  problems  with walking  and dementia.  She was wonderful  with him. Very  knowledgeable and compassionate.  The family  decided  he needed  more care and he is now in  Virginia  with  his other  son and family  in an ALF. She would  still  be working  for us if that wasn't  the case. We would  recommend  her  without  reservations.
