About Lucas

Hi! My name is Lucas, and I'm an elementary education major with a passion for working with children. I'm available to care for up to four children between the ages of 4-11 and am comfortable managing a busy, active environment while keeping things fun and structured. I love engaging kids through hands-on activities, games, crafts, outdoor play, and learning-based fun. As a future teacher, I naturally enjoy fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children while supporting any homework or skill-building they're working on. I'm capable of handling most household tasks related to childcare, including meal prep, light cleaning, bedtime routines, and transportation if needed. I believe in clear communication with both parents and children, and I'm confident in setting and enforcing rules in a calm, consistent, and respectful way. My goal is always to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment where kids feel heard, encouraged, and excited to learn and grow.
