I have been a Nanny for over 10 years. For 3 of those years, I was a nanny to twin girls (3 months until 3 years old) and their older brother (3 years old until 6 years old). Also, I was a full-time mother to my own two sons who were 1-1/2 years apart in age and are now engineers in their fields. I have a 4 year degree and a certificate in Early Childhood Development. Every moment is a learning moment with the children, and every outing is a field trip. I can make fun and learning happen while baking, making our own wrapping paper, playing in the mud in the garden, exploring worms after a light rain, having an "indoor picnic" on the floor of our living room, or going on a treasure hunt. Children desire guidance, involvement, and activity rather than passive entertainment; and they excel as a result of adult interest and involvement. I look forward to being a valuable part of your child's learning and development. I view "Nanny" as being a part of your family, not simply hired help.

Luanne has been a wonderful nanny to our little girl for the last year and half. I have nothing but great things to say- to start, she is extremely reliable, timely and communicative. Luanne truly cares about the wellbeing and development of the children she watches and is always seeking to find ways to help them thrive. She will work with you and your child to meet whatever your needs are- from teaching sign language and colors, dropping naps, or introducing solids. Luanne likes to be outside and will take your child outside or to the park when weather permits or plan activities/games inside when it doesn’t. She devotes her full attention her job and keeps a log of the daily activities so you never have any questions about how the day went. Finding someone to care for your child is a scary prospect but we grew to trust Luanne wholeheartedly and greatly value our relationship with her. Overall, we’ve loved having Luanne as our nanny and cherish the bond that has grown between her and my daughter. Any family will be lucky to have her!
