I am a math tutor who helps students learn the math that is required by the state standards at all grade levels. I assess each student to determine his/her math needs. With the parents' approval, I provide the appropriate lessons to improve the student's test scores.

In the seven years that I have had the pleasure of knowing Lourdes, she has demonstrated vast knowledge in various subjects including but not limited to advanced levels of math and Spanish. She is exceptional in working with children being perceptive, creative and resourceful. Lourdes has a genuine concern for the education of our youth and understands the importance of implementing hands on strategies for learning. She has worked with my children and has helped tremendously. In turn, my children have increased their skills and have gained more confidence in their learning. I highly recommend Lourdes to work with children of any age. Her insight and knowledge is unsurpassed. She has been very generous with me in accepting $25/hour as what she brings to the table is worth much more.
