About Lorrie

A short version of me: I have been an NICU and transport (ground and air) nurse/RN, BSN, MS and was a pediatric clinical nurse specialist for 10 years. I eventually became the director of nurses at National Children's Hospital in Columbus Ohio. Later I went to law school and represented all of the foster children in Windsor County for Vermont for 15 years. In 2014 I went to Armenia with the US Peace Corps and taught English to primary school children for two years. Later I was the administrator for refugee medical clinics on the Greek Islands of Lesvos and Samos. When COVID started I came home to Vermont and have been taking care of newborns while mom and dad have to go back to work and no daycare has been available. I have two adult children. My daughter is a veterinarian and my son is a meditation/yoga teacher. It seems that life is a circle and now I am back in my retired years taking care of newborns again. I am a loving, kind, competent and skilled caregiver for newborns.
