At 42, I became the caregiver for my mom, as her needs increased I found myself looking for someone to help me during the hours I was at work and at grad school. I decided to look on Care.com after a negative experience hiring someone by word of mouth. Lorrie was one of the first people I interviewed and I knew instantly she was exactly the person I was looking for. She was always punctual, treated my mom as if she were her own family, and always went above and beyond. Not long after I had hired Lorrie, I had a friend call me when she saw them at lunch with and knowing my prior experience. She said I had to call you and let you know I didn't approach them, but instead sat back and watched her interaction with your she was so kind and patient her, I think you found a great person to help with your mom! Lorrie worked for me for 2 years before moving to Florida and our loss of a great caregiver could be your gain! I would hire her back in a second if she moved back to Missouri!
