About Lorraine

I have more than 30 years of caregiving experience, but my most meaningful experience came from caring for my own mother through dementia as her 24/7 caregiver. That journey taught me patience, compassion, dignity, and the importance of simply being present. I understand how much families need someone who is dependable and can provide not only reliable care, but genuine companionship, conversation, warmth, and reassurance. I can assist with daily routines, meals, medication reminders, mobility, errands, appointments, and other day-to-day needs. I am also medically literate and comfortable understanding medications, medical terminology, care instructions, and communicating concerns with family members, palliative care and Hospice teams. Most of all, I want to be the person for another family that we so desperately needed for ours and were never able to find: someone kind, patient, trustworthy, attentive, dependable, and truly caring.
