About Lorraine

I was incredibly fortunate to have Lorraine as part of our family for five wonderful years. She cared for my children from infancy through their toddler years and remained with us until they were happily settled into school. She ultimately left to work with an Autistic child that I know she adored, and then on to care for her mother with Dementia. Lorraine handled all aspects of infant and toddler care with exceptional skill and confidence, including feeding, meal prep, naps, diapering, potty training, bathing, laundry, and maintaining organized routines. She is extremely well organized, dependable, and was always on time or early. She consistently went above and beyond, helping wherever needed without ever having to be asked. What truly set her apart was her genuine love of teaching and engaging with children. She read to them daily, encouraged curiosity, and thoughtfully planned enriching outings to museums, zoos, libraries, and local activities. Our children learned so much through her calm guidance, patience, and creativity, and they absolutely adored her. Having a nanny with over 25 years of experience made an enormous difference for our family. Her maturity, patience, and deep understanding of child development brought a sense of stability and confidence that we had not experienced previously. She understood the importance of reliability and consistency, and unlike prior caregivers, she was exceptionally dependable and rarely called out sick or late. She is also fully self-sufficient and professional, with her own health insurance and a newer, safe, and reliable vehicle for transporting children to activities and appointments. I trusted Lorraine completely and always felt our children were safe, loved, and well cared for. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her, and I give her my highest possible recommendation without reservation.
