After raising two amazing children, I remembered loving the newborn and infant stages. So, I answered an ad in 2013 to be a nanny for a 3-month-old little girl. I was her nanny until she started daycare when she was 26 months. Next, I cared for a family with a 6-month-old little boy and his 3-year-old brother. I then opened a daycare in my home in March, 2017. I was at full capacity within 1 month! While challenging, I thoroughly enjoyed caring for six kiddos from 6 months to 4 years. Since then, I have worked for several families with infants both individually and as part of a nanny share. I love helping families, and enjoy all aspects of child care and child development! I'm most passionate about caring for newborns and infants, keeping them safe and happy, and having fun while navigating developmental milestones! Specifically, I'm adept at working with parents to establish a healthy eat, play, and sleep pattern for their babies.

Lori truly was our hero, as she came in to help take care of our 5 month old right when I had to go back to work. After feeling like we were stumbling through first time newborn parenthood, she truly gave us comfort and advice that got us through even the toughest of times. She is incredibly knowledgeable in all things infant related: sleep, feeding, baby proofing, milestones, etc. She was responsible, timely, kind and caring. I would highly recommend her, especially for anyone who is a first time parent!

I don’t have enough words to describe how grateful we are for the time Lori spent with our family. Lori started working with us in November 2022 when my daughter was 4 months old and worked with us all the way up until she was 18 months old. At the time when she joined us we were exhausted and struggling in the new parent haze. We were waking up multiple times per night and struggling to put our daughter down successfully for naps and bed. After just a couple days Lori got our daughter going down for naps independently and eating better. After a while the nighttime wake ups started to decrease. With her wealth of infant care knowledge I always felt comfortable that she could handle any situation that was presented to her. In addition to being great about structuring naps and feeding schedule she has a great ability to allow the child to direct themselves while also taking little moments to talk about what they are doing (pointing out colors, numbers, shapes, etc).  As a parent I always appreciated how communicative she was. She would regularly check in and ask how I would want something done and was great about giving me updates (with pictures) throughout the day. Lori is a true professional; I can’t recommend her more highly. We were so thankful to find Lori and will always appreciate the time she spent with us. 

Lori is everything we wanted in a nanny for our son. We are first time parents which brought a certain amount of nervousness and a great deal to learn. Lori boasts an absolute command of early childhood education, infant sleep expertise and best practices in safety. She engaged our son in age-appropriate play as he progressed through each stage of his life. She worked with us to adjust sleep schedules and tracked their activities throughout the day for an easy transition after work.

Lori is beyond reliable and communicative. We immediately feel a sense of calm when she arrives because we know our son is in excellent care with her. We are heartbroken that it is time for our son to head to preschool and we will have to say goodbye to Lori. She will be an incredible asset to the next family lucky enough to hire her.

We had such a great experience with Lori! Our daughter was 3 months when I had to go back to work and Lori was the best nanny we could have asked for. I would consider her a baby expert. She was on time every day, took amazing care of our daughter, and I had no worries leaving my baby with her. Lori's number one priority was our daughters safety and well being. I would highly recommend Lori to any parents, and would use her in the future. Any family would be lucky to have Lori!

Lori was our son's nanny from age 4 months to 15 months. As new parents, we were nervous about who would watch our son. During this time, Lori made us feel comfortable and confident that our baby was safe, loved and well cared for. Lori was reliable, dependable and organized. Highly recommend Lori especially for new parents of newborns.

We had the pleasure of hiring to Lori watch our son as part of a nanny-share with another boy his age. She cared for our son from the time he was 8 months old until he was about 17 months old. Lori was very punctual and never missed work for any reason. She has a lot of experience with babies and has their safety at the forefront of her mind. We did not hesitate to leave our son with her, as we knew he would be well cared for. She also brought books for him that she thought he may like. She respected our requests for no screen time and was engaged with the boys throughout the day. We would absolutely re-hire Lori and recommend her for anyone looking for a safe, responsible caregiver for their little one.

We had a fabulous experience leaving our child in Lori's care. She took care of him from 6 months on and was such a warm and loving nanny, as well as being dependable and punctual. She always went the extra step to also work on helping with his growth and development, bringing over books he would like and spending time reading and playing. I would absolutely recommend Lori to anyone thinking of hiring her.

Lori has been such a blessing to our family for the last 9 months.  She has cared for my now 16 month old daughter and really helped me learn how to be a new Mom.  Lori has always been punctual and dependable and more than willing to go the extra mile to make sure that my daughter was happy, healthy and loved. We will miss Lori terribly but we know that she will find a great family .

Lori was my son's full-time nanny from age 3 months to 14 months. She is the absolute best!!! The happiest, most reliable, caring, kind person you will meet. She is everything you want in a nanny or caretaker.

Lori is great. She cared for our little boy (~6-8 months) several times. I wish she was looking to babysit, we'd keep hiring her! Caring, dependable, punctual, polite, easy to work with, communicative, I couldn't say enough positive feedback!

Lori is great! She is always a few minutes early and is eager to help me with light house keeping. She is helpful and very nice. She sends pictures and videos. She texts me to keep me updated (eating, naps, bed time, etc). I trust her completely with my daughter. 

I was thrilled to work with Lori and have her take care of my kids. She was engaging, professional, and kind. Her attentiveness and clear love for what she does comes through in her work. It is a natural thing for her. I was very grateful to find her and it put my mind at complete ease because I knew my kids were in great hands.
