About Lori

I have raised two beautiful children of my own who are now adults. I have a wonderful 18-month-old grandson I love to care for and be part of his life. Before moving to IL, I cared for three boys for several years. I love reading to children, going on walks, and playing age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and music. I was a CPR/First Aid Instructor for the American Red Cross. I was a Water Safety Instructor and taught swimming for over 10 years. I taught infants through adults. I was a Learn to Sew instructor for 6-10-year-olds. I have many years of experience caring for and teaching children of all ages. Although I don't have a college degree, I have taken college classes throughout the years. I am exceptionally physically fit for my age and eat healthy to keep up my energy. I run/walk, swim, and do other physical exercises to keep fit. I love to sew, write, draw, and play my saxophone.
