About Lorin

Greetings! My name is Lori and I would consider it an honor to assist any elder remain in their home. I've worked in both nursing homes and residences, as well as solely providing for both my parents as they aged. My training is in social work (MSW), providing therapy and support to clients of all ages. I would absolutely bring this skill set to my role as caretaker. I am deeply compassionate of the loss of independence elders face and look very much towards broadening their world, whether it be through outings, preparing different meals or merely good conversation. Respect is likewise an integral part of my profile, as I recognize that all elders must be valued and treated as the unique individuals that they are. I am happy to perform any and all tasks requested and will always do so with a smile. I have always had a special affinity for the elderly and am very disheartened at how they are often treated. I very much wish to do my small part to change this. My schedule is very flexible
