About Lori

I am a retired court stenographer. Born and raised in Hartford, Ct. Second to oldest of seven children, I was mother's helper with younger siblings from infancy through adolescence. Daily after school and nighttime as needed. I also babysat outside of the home to earn extra money while I was in high school. Upon retiring, I cared for the elderly in their homes in addition to providing companionship. I worked with Seniors Helping Seniors in Simsbury Connecticut for approximately five years. Although I found working with the elderly to be quite gratifying, I also find I enjoy working with children - of any age.
