Hello, my name is Lori and I was a CNA in southern Maryland working in Veterans home and hospital for several years until I stopped to raise my children. I was fortunate enough to be able to return to caring for the elderly about 4 years ago. I have some nursing skills which includes use of the hoyer lift, feeding through feeding tube, working with a paraplegic and a lot of experience working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients. Lori stayed with my 88 year old Mom for four afternoons when we went to the beach. She was punctual and very gracious when I gave her the incorrect start date. My mother was well-fed and really enjoyed getting to know Lori. She managed to get my mom out walking on the deck each day. Something I couldn't do. I would hire her again without hesitation.
