About Lori

I am a retired Special Education teacher for the moderate/severe population currently substitute teaching. I am empathetic, reliable, cheerful, physically fit, experienced, and I will care for your loved one as if a member of my own family. I developed an Animal Assisted Therapy program so I am comfortable with all species of pets. Well, maybe not snakes! I have three visiting therapy dogs as well as miniature therapy horses. I took care of my husband with Parkinson's, my mother in home with breast cancer, and most recently my father. until his passing at 95 in 2021. I am familiar with a Hoyer, in fact I have one for sale. I helped with all of dad's daily activities once he became bed bound. I took full 24/7 care of my father including medicine dispensing, vitals monitoring, transportationkel to/from appointments, housekeeping, meal prep, bathing, as well as fun outings/activities.. I didn't want anyone else caring for him so it was my honor to do it all. Let's chat - Lori
