About Lorie

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, compassionate, responsible. I like working with kids because they have so much joy to bring and they are fun, eager to learn, and adventurous!! I'm looking for a job that I can bring assistance to a family and in turn be able to make an impact in the lives of their loved ones by caring for them. I started working with kids when I was in high school and I have worked in different capacities (medical and child care) over the years. As of recent I have been the part time caretaker to my 2 grandsons. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and my grandkids. One thing you should know about me is I am a hard worker and very reliable and I genuinely love people. My skills include CPR, BLS, and I know how to get down on their level and engage with them. I also am very good and deflecting temper tantrums and getting the child to regroup and calm down.
