About Lorena

I'd describe my personality as creative, fun, action-orientated. I like working with kids because they are wise, funny and teach me how to see the world with curiosity and kindness. I'm looking for a job that allows me to share my creativity through arts exploration and learning. I started working with kids when I was in college. I worked with high school age youth in afterschool and summer enrichment programs. In my spare time, I like to make art, learn new crafts, travel and spend time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is that I have a child-centered approach to my care practice. I center the child's voice and feelings while guiding and upholding their safety. My skills include creating arts activities and learning experiences, playfulness, adaptability, cleanliness and boundaries.
