My favorite subject to teach is Reading. And learning to read and enjoy reading at an early age is key to finding the joy of reading and the necessity of it further in life. My strengths are Early Education-teaching children age 4-6. Getting a head start on letter recognition and sounds is my specialty and having fun and learning through play is my teaching motivation. I'd describe my personality as fun, compassionate and grounded. I like tutoring because I love to be able to use my skills and gifts and pass them down to those that can benefit from them. I also love seeing the "aha" moment when a child grasps what they've just been taught. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and part-time. I started tutoring in the early 2010. In my spare time, I like to write, read and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I am all about the child and meeting them where they are.
