About Lois

Hello. I'm Lois, also known as Sunshine. I was a caregiver to my mother and to my maternal aunt for four years after both were diagnosed with cancer. These life events gave me first hand experience concerning ADLs. Since losing my two favorite charges, I'm looking for a way to earn extra money doing something I love, which is helping to care for others. I've two years paid experience being a companion. I'm confident, compassionate and a great conversationalist. My communication skills are exceptional which is essential for understanding the needs of the individual being cared for. I'm also flexible and adaptable. Most importantly, I'm trustworthy and reliable. Along with companionship for emotional support, I do meal prep, light housekeeping, errand running, transportation to doctor's appointments and light exercising.
