About Lizzie

Though I do not have any professional experience as a senior companion yet, I was blessed to spend quality time with my grandfather in his last years. Through spending this time with him at his assisted living home and helping him to appointments, I found a yearning for deeper connection with the community's elders. I feel so strongly that the gifts our elderly have to offer this world have been brushed off and my heart deeply desires to discover and celebrate such gifts. I have worked as a childcare professional and teacher for several years. Along with teaching children, I'm a certified yoga instructor with a holistic and gentle approach. It feels important for me to empower and co-create an experience with someone who might need some extra, non-medical assistance. Some other attributes that would make me a wonderful senior companion are my deeply empathetic nature, ability to connect and communicate, compassionate listening, organization, and resourcefulness.
