Hi, My name is Liz. I am a proud mom to an amazing 5-year-old and also a lifelong caregiver. I have decided to transition out of the corporate world, and I'm excited to focus on what I truly love, which is caring for more children. I have years of parenting, nannying, and teaching experience. During Covid I was pregnant and I nannied full time until I was 37 weeks and too wobbly to lift my little people anymore. I spent four years teaching preschool and elementary school in South Korea. I am especially great with babies and toddlers. I believe that supporting early development is important through play, reading and hands-on activities. With my child and all of my nephews and nieces, I have always found that being outdoors is so important. Our family is the one that takes everyone on the boat and teaches our littles to net bait and fish and explore. I am able to provide care in my home or yours. My boys are 4.5 and 6 so one of our very favorite things about Liz is how much fun she is for the guys. She is all of the things that you would expect from a child caregiver - warm, kind, gentle, proactive, punctual, and I never ever worry about my boys in her care. But I feel like that's the Baseline. Someone could be all of those things and your caregiver could just plop them down in front of a Disney movie marathon and call it a day. Liz has been watching my boys since they were literally infants, but they would prefer her to me most days I think, which is really the highest Accolade I can give to any caregiver. She has become an integral member of our family and I'm pretty sure that the boys would riot if I ever tried to leave them with anyone else. She meets them where they're at and she recognizes the differences in my boys and tailors her care and compassion to them specifically.
