I have been babysitting through care on & off for about 10 years. I have left my full time job as an Early Head Start teacher (working w/ infants/toddlers) of 5 years to pursue a new career. I've now relocated to Texas and am working as a flight attendant. I'm hoping to pick up babysitting shifts on my days off (different days each month). I have also worked as a preschool/headstart teacher and babysat for children as old as 12 years old. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Adolescent Development (emphasis in Early Childhood Education) from Cal State Fullerton. I also have my CPR/First Aid certification. I am a firm believer that you (parents) are the child's first teacher and your child will reach their full potential when we both work together with the same goals. Aside from learning through play, I find it valuable to take children to the park, grocery stores, malls, etc. rather than staying in the house all day. I look forward to working with you!
