Experience: 10 yrs
I'm an experienced, dependable nanny with a true passion for caring for infants. I especially enjoy starting with babies around 2-3 months old and growing with them through their first 1-2 years, supporting both baby and parents during that special stage. I bring a calm, attentive, and loving approach to each day, with a strong focus on safety, routines, and developmental support. I value open communication with parents and creating a peaceful, nurturing environment for your child to thrive. I will be available beginning in September and am ideally looking for a position of approximately 3-4 days per week (28-32 hours), though I'm open to the right fit. I look forward to connecting with a family who values experience, trust, and a warm, consistent presence for their little one.
Do not look any further because you have literally struck gold. I found Lisa on Care.com when I was pregnant with my now 13 month old and I was immediately impressed with her background. Not only did she have a strong educational background in early childhood, she had been the lead infant teacher for many years at the early childhood center where my then 2 year old son attended. It only got better from there. Lisa is an incredible caregiver. She has been with us since my daughter was just a couple months (she started helping me a couple days a week before I went back to work). I was nervous about going back to work but she made helped make the transition seamless for me. She is a strong communicator, professional in every sense of the word, timely (always early) and the way she interacts with my kids is what you can only dream to find in a nanny. She has been key in my daughter's development over the last year, making sure that they are always playing with age appropriate toys and working on new skills. She also picks my three year old up from school and takes care of both children in the afternoons. They have a ball and my son always looks forward to coming home to play with Lisa in the basement. Lisa is also one of the most caring, thoughtful people I have ever encountered. She is always one step ahead of me, thinking about the kids needs and making things easier for us in a household with two working parents. If you have any question about hiring Lisa to be your nanny, you should see the way my 13 month old daughter lights up when she hears Lisa arrive in the morning. I am more than happy to serve as a reference for Lisa, so please ask her for Elizabeth's contact information if you are lucky enough to be talking to her about being your nanny.
