I'm very dedicated & committed to my work with children. As an educator, I'm aware of developmental milestones & able to provide activities for each. I'm creative, caring, nurturing, & have a great deal of patience. I'm a certified International Montessori Teacher. I've owned & operated a small Montessori school, specializing in children ages 2-kindergarten for 12 years. In addition to my experience as an educator, I've also worked as a nanny for families. I currently offer services as an In-Home Montessori Teacher/Caregiver. I'm fully equipped with the Montessori materials. All I need is a room within your home to set up as our classroom. We follow the typical school day with a work period, snack, reading, singing. We break for lunch & recess, projects, cooking, & nature walks. Consider a Nanny Share to allow for socialization.

Lisa has been our wonderful nanny for the past year and a half. With her extensive background in preschool,and specifically Montessori education, she has provided a thoughtful, organized and stimulating environment for my 2 and 4 year old girls who respect and absolutely adore her. She has been a true teacher and friend for them. She is also a model employee, is never late, takes the girls on great field trips and is flexible when we're running late. And, although I never require it, she seems to always find time to do the little tasks around the house that make life easier. Overall, my girls are not only loved and well cared for, they're polite, articulate and ahead of the game from a developmental standpoint. I can't recommend Lisa enough. Hire her and you'll get all the love and care you'd hope for from a great nanny along with a world-class teacher in the same package.
