About Lisa

Hello, I am an energetic person who loves children and have worked with kids in various capacities over the last 35+ years. I started my career as an elementary school teacher in Beaverton, Oregon and then moved overseas to teach at the Singapore American School. I am bilingual and speak English and Spanish. I have raised my three children as well as my two nieces, stepchildren, and was a foster parent for a short while. I was also a CASA in Clackamas County. I have lived in South America and in Europe, as well as Asia. I owned and ran a musical theater school in the Portland Oregon area for 15 years. My students were aged between four and 18 years old. For the last seven years, I took a group of students to the national performing arts festival in Orlando, Florida, and we won the competition twice!
