I've been a nurse for 9+ years- including experience in inpatient hospital medical-surgical (7+ years) nursing and inpatient pediatric/adolescent psychiatric nursing (2+ years). Child Care: 20+ years experience in child care. Helping family members with their little ones (2 nephews since infancy) and part-time jobs during college. 2+ years of experience inpatient pediatric nursing with psych/behavioral concerns (ages 4-17). I like to encourage a variety of activities. Senior Care: My goal in providing senior care is quality of life and safety. I enjoy spending time with older adults. Experience with memory loss (dementia/Alzheimer's) . I am known for my calm, patient demeanor. Companionship, assisting with light exercise and encouraging social interaction and preferred activities are of great value to me.
