It's simple. I love children. I try to inspire them, nurture them, and educate them in a way that is fun, inspiring and imaginative. I started work as a nanny at age 17. Later, I had my own son to love and to raise. I was able to volunteer at his elementary school for a variety of classrooms and grade levels. I was also the librarian at this school. I enjoyed this position because it brought my two greatest loves together- children and books! I have also tutored children of all ages in a wide variety of subjects. Recently I worked with a lovely family for 8 years. Sadly, they moved out state in August, 2020. I visit them every year!! I decided to enrich my knowledge of children by taking courses in Early Childhood Education. This education proved valuable as I was able to work at a preschool for one year. I strongly feel that children need to be loved, nurtured, respected, and inspired in the best way possible according to his or her individual needs to meet their full potential!!

Lisa has worked for our family for 2 years and she was a lovely p/t nanny for our daughter! She is kind, nurturing, patient, caring, and trustworthy. She has always been punctual and dependable. She's enthusiastic, playful, and attentive. Any family who is able to work with her would be very lucky. With her interactions with my daughter, it is clear that she truly cared about her well-being and safety. I felt comfortable that my daughter was in her care. Her kindness and care also was evident when she would pet-sit our dog as well. She respected and followed through with my requests and was very open to feed-back as well. The only reason why she has not continued working with us on a regular basis is that my daughter attends school now.
