Hi! My name is Lisa, and I have over 30 years of experience working with young children. My experiences include running a small in-home daycare, teaching kindergarten and third grade, and being a lead teacher for infants through Pre-K. In addition, I have also been a foster parent, and raised my daughter and my son. These experiences have allowed me to care for children birth to around age 10 but the past 5 years I have mostly worked with infants and toddlers. I obtained my B. A. in Psychology and K-4 teaching license from Meredith College and am up to date with SIDS and CPR/First Aid certification. My personality is very nurturing, caring, patient, and creative, which is well suited to my work with young children, and I am comfortable around pets. I am passionate about my work and love working with families to share in the fabulous experience of caring for their children. I will be happy to provide references.

Lisa was referred to me by my prior nanny. We had a death in the family and the person who usually keeps my 8 month old was unable to watch her for about a month while mourning and funeral planning. My house is about 50 miles from where Lisa lives but she heard about our situation and said she would happily make the drive to help us. To say she has been a godsend is probably still an understatement. I cannot express how happy I am with Lisa's attentive, nurturing, engaging way of keeping my little girl. I work from home so I can hear them occasionally. All day she is talking, reading, on the floor playing and engaging my little girl. Lisa has so much daycare experience she naturally ensures bottles aren't out too long, diapers are changed and helped us figure out a daily routine within her first two days. If you need an experienced caregiver who will bring supplies for age appropriate activities to nurture your little ones development Lisa is hands down someone I would hire again. If she didn't live so far from us I would try to keep her with us!
