I'd describe my personality as caring, dependable, and social. I like working with kids because every day is different and every kid is different. I like getting to know them, and helping them. I'm looking for work that is during public school hours (8:35-3:15). I started working with kids in 2010 when I studied elementary education. Since then I've had 4 children, nannied a family of 5 children, taught piano to at least 5 children, and worked with preschoolers for 2 years. In my spare time, I enjoy holiday traditions. I host movie nights; Harry Potter being one of the main favorites. I like geocaching and gardening. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a Christian. My skills include consistency, knowing different developmental stages, and collaborating with the child and the adults in their life, to meet their needs.

She has experience working with students with disabilities (supporting with plans, scaffolds, and working on goals). She is an incredible mom to her own children who are kind hearted and hardworking. She has knowledge of curriculum content from preschool through middle school with supporting her own kids with their learning. If she returned to CO, I’d hire her in a heartbeat!
