Hello families! My name is Lisa. I have had the pleasure of working with children for 18 years. I was a certified paraeducator through the state of Texas since 2006. I have worked with infants, toddlers and children in preschool through high school. I have worked with children with autism, Asperger's, downs syndrome, ADHD, learning disorders and behavioral issues. I have extensive experience working with special needs children and also working with elderly patients in their homes. I was a preschool teacher at Kingwood Christian Academy for 7 years, nursery school director at our church for 3 years, I worked for Humble ISD for 8 years and 2 1/2 years as a nanny/homeschool teacher. I have been married for 34 years and have two grown children of my own. Lisa quickly responded to my messages leading up to our interview and sent her resume prior to the interview. She arrived early and came loaded with her awards, accolades, and certifications during her long tenure as a school teacher of all ages. We would have felt very comfortable with Lisa caring for our 6 month old, but our schedules are not aligned.
