I am retired from working at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse NY. I was a volunteer coordinator for a program where volunteers visited Veterans in their homes as Caregiver support, respite, and social interaction for the Veteran. I raised my son who has Asperger and ADHD (who is now 26, independent and self sufficient), and my daughter (who's 23 and a hairdresser). I've assisted elderly in their homes with light housekeeping, light meals, dressing, grooming, and companionship.
